Almonds are great Nutrients

Almonds are everybody’s favourite nut. Most mornings I add a handful to my breakfast since they are tasty and nutritious.

  1.  They reduce heart attack risk.
    Research says that those who consume nuts five times a week have about a 50 percent reduction in risk of heart attack.
  2.  They lower “bad” cholesterol.
    Almonds added to the diet have a favourable effect on blood cholesterol levels.
  3.  They protect artery walls from damage.
    It is found that the flavonoids in almond skins help work in synergy with the vitamin E, thus reducing the risk of heart disease.
  4. Strong bones and teeth.
    The phosphorus in almonds helps make good and strong teeth and bones.
  5.   Aid in weight loss:
    You always are taught that nuts are high in fat, but almonds help reduce your weight. It is proved that frequent nut eaters are thinner.
  1. Almonds lower the rise in blood sugar and insulin after meals. 
  2.  They help provide good brain function. 
    Almonds are very good brain boosters. Almonds contain riboflavin and L-carnitine, nutrients that boost brain activity and may also reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
  3.   Nervous system.
    Almonds help increase high intellectual level and longevity.
